Wasteland games!
Experience all three Wasteland games – RPGs that shaped and continue to shape the video game industry. The very first Wasteland title was released way back in 1988 and it served as a spiritual precursor to the classic, isometric Fallout games. In a world ravaged by nuclear war, radiation sickness, thirst, hunger, corruption, and mutants you stand as the only beacon of hope. Lead a squad of Desert Rangers and determine the ultimate fate of the post-apocalyptic land through your decisions! Afterall, Wasteland games were the first RPGs where player choices had real consequences. Play through all three installments and witness video game history!
The building blocks of the Wasteland series have always been a dark and satirical post-apocalyptic setting, a table-top RPG-inspired combat system, and an interactive story that is shaped by player’s choices. If you’re a fan of the Fallout or XCOM franchises, you’ll immediately have a sense of familiarity after visiting the universe of Wasteland. 1988 game has popularized the tropes encountered throughout many popular turn-based RPG series and the latest installment – Wasteland 3 – continues to expand upon the design principles that Wasteland games have always been known for. Set out on a journey throughout the post-apocalyptic wastes and enjoy a multilayered gameplay experience laden with an enticing turn-based action and rich worldbuilding!
